Gyros AB is world leader in the miniaturization and integration of laboratory applications through its proprietary microfluidics platform, Gyrolab CD (compact disc) microlaboratory. Gyros delivers simple to use, precisely controlled solutions for processing hundreds of samples in parallel at nanoliter scale. Scientists are able to use immunoassays with a very broad measuring range to generate more information from less sample and improve productivity and efficiency. The company is currently focused on the market for quantitative protein analysis for research and drug discovery applications.

The company participates in the Centre because of an interest in new areas and needs for protein quantification where Gyros microfluidic technology can be further developed.

Partner representative is Mats Inganäs, PhD. He has been with Gyros since 2000 and currently holds the position as Sr Director of Science and Applications.
